A few Ordinals updates…
It’s been a long time coming but…we’re excited to launch a few major updates for Ordinals creators and collectors today. 🥳
What’s new for creators?
Mintpass: For all new collections launched through Gamma, creators can now set a mintpass/presale by collecting Ordinals compatible addresses. Additionally, you’ll be able to allocate the number of pieces each address is allowed to mint during the pre-sale.
Mint stage and price customization: Take full control of your collection by pausing your mint anytime or editing your presale and public mint prices. You can also set an optional maximum allocation of mints per address.
Updated royalties: Set an optional secondary sale royalty up to 10%. Previously, we allowed creators on Gamma to set an optional 1.5% royalty. Now, you can flexibly manage your royalties and update them anytime, and also update your Bitcoin payment address.
Collection details: Quickly configure your project description, website, Twitter, and Discord links straight from your new collection management page.
What’s new for collectors?
Unisat wallet support: Let’s give a warm welcome to Unisat wallet, now available on Gamma. You’ll be able to create, trade, auction, and collect Ordinal inscriptions using Hiro, Xverse, and Unisat wallet.
Bulk minting: For those projects you can’t get enough of, you’ll now be able to mint in bulk (e.g. 5 at a time). Depending on how many pieces your favorite creators limit mints to, you’ll no longer have to mint one at a time.

Discover Stacks NFTs
At Gamma, our story started with helping you create and collect extraordinary Bitcoin NFTs. Today, Gamma remains a premier Bitcoin NFT creator launchpad and marketplace, supporting both on-chain Ordinal inscriptions and Stacks NFTs. Moving forward, we're officially splitting our Stacks NFT launchpad and marketplace from the Gamma Ordinals site.
To discover Bitcoin NFTs on Stacks, head to stacks.gamma.io.
From Gamma.io's inception, we've believed Bitcoin to be the strongest, most time-tested blockchain out there. However, it wasn't feasible for artists to create smart contract-based NFT collections on Bitcoin as they did on Ethereum.
As a result, we looked towards Stacks — a smart contract and DeFi blockchain layer backed by the security and stability of Bitcoin.
During the first few years of building out Gamma, we focused on creating the best tools and open marketplace experience for Stacks NFTs. Today, you can design, build, and launch your Bitcoin-backed NFT collection and retain 100% ownership and control. As a collector, you can buy, sell, trade, and bid on items that you love while supporting your favorite artists with creator-backing royalties.
As a launchpad and marketplace focused on Bitcoin NFTs, we're always keeping track of how the market is evolving. Since the rise of Ordinal Theory, we quickly worked to launch the first trustless Ordinal inscription marketplace, along with an open creator launchpad for anyone to create and deploy their collection in minutes.
After hearing your feedback, we made the careful decision to split our Stacks offerings from the main site to better serve both the Stacks ecosystem and the Ordinals ecosystem.
Gamma.io will serve as the homepage for Ordinal inscriptions, and stacks.gamma.io will house NFTs on Stacks. As a creator, you'll have the flexibility to choose the platform that best serves your needs.
For all the Stacks NFT creators who were with us since the beginning, we're endlessly grateful for your continued support. Ultimately, our new dedicated Stacks NFT Gamma site will allow us to better implement future upgrades like sBTC, BNS domains, and more.
Thanks for sticking with us — we can't wait to create the future of art on Bitcoin with you all. 🧡

Stacks NFTs
Curious about NFTs on Stacks? To learn more about Stacks NFTs and how they differ from Ordinal inscriptions, check out our educational article below.
What is the difference between Stacks NFTs and Ordinal NFTs?
In short, Ordinal inscriptions are Bitcoin-native NFTs. Data can be inscribed onto individual Satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin), directly on the Bitcoin blockchain. Users can transact Ordinals NFTs like Stacks NFTs, but the data (whether it is an image, a text, a memo...) is completely immutable and stored directly on the Layer 1 Bitcoin blockchain.
Because Ordinals live directly on Bitcoin blocks, their size is limited. Stacks NFTs live on the Stacks blockchain and are secured by Bitcoin, but the data lives off-chain (on decentralized services such as IPFS) and can be updated if necessary, giving more flexibility to creators with their projects.
Featured collections & auctions 🎨
Prepare for an exciting launch tomorrow — from OnChainMonkey comes OCM Dimensions, an impressive new 3D collection generated from code and inscribed on early 2009 Satoshis. After launching 300 genesis pieces tomorrow, you can browse the OCM Dimensions secondary sale on Gamma. To learn more, listen to our Spaces recording with OCM!
OCM Dimensions is a high-resolution, 3D animated inscription series, making it a pioneer among collections on Bitcoin. Not only does Dimensions distinguish itself through unparalleled detail and quality, but it also exemplifies efficient utilization of Bitcoin's expensive block space. Most inscriptions today are still small text files or low-resolution pixelated images. Dimensions shatters this norm with its intricate 3D art, which renders directly from Bitcoin and dynamically scales up with display size, delivering pixel-perfect clarity even on 8K displays! This astounding quality is achieved with a file size of under 1 kilobyte per inscription, an accomplishment unmatched on Bitcoin prior to Dimensions.
Check out this collaborative live auction on Gamma, from Nakamoto1 & MetaBoy! Listen in to our Spaces recording from earlier this week to learn more about this exclusive 1/1 auction piece. We can’t wait to see who submits the winning bid! 🌙
Thanks for tuning in! We’ll see you next week. 🧡
