A quick debrief…
Last week, our team jetted out to Miami Beach to present the highly anticipated Bitcoin Ordinals and art event of the year, Nolcha Shows: Ordinals Edition. Presented by Gamma and Inscribing Atlantis, this unique gathering brought together a diverse group of artists, builders, collectors, and enthusiasts from across the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem and beyond.
The conference, held at Miami Beach’s famous art hotel, The Sagamore, featured a range of speakers and panelists who shared their insights and experiences in the world of digital art and collectibles on Bitcoin.
Some of the highlights of the event on the art side included the LED screen art display curated by Hugo Pouchard(Gamma's in-house curator), inspired by Miami and the art deco style which added a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere to the Sagamore all week long. An additional screen also showcased a curated selection of digital art from the Gamma artist community, further immersing attendees in the world of Bitcoin Ordinals. There was also physical art on display and available for purchase from incredible artists at Gamma.
Panels & Fireside talks
The conference featured a highly coveted range of speakers from across the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem and beyond, including the first big featured US fireside & panel from Casey Rodarmor, the visionary behind the Ordinals protocol itself. In addition, featured panels, workshops, and fireside chats included leading voices like Raph, the Lead Maintainer of Ord, Erin from Inscribing Amsterdam, founders from leading Bitcoin infrastructure companies such as Trust Machines, Xverse, and Leather, emerging artists and creators, open-source contributors, and so much more.
The event was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community, and it demonstrated the potential of the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem to drive innovation and change in the world of art and technology. The energy and excitement at the conference were palpable, and it was clear that the Bitcoin Ordinals community is thriving — and that this is just the beginning.
The Afterparty 🎉
In addition to the conference, the event also featured an after-conference party with live music performances by Violetta Zironi and Clara, live-art demonstrations, aquatic performances, and more! The party was a hit, and it provided attendees with an opportunity to unwind, network, and celebrate the success of the conference.

Live Creator Session
Featured Partner of the Week
Welcome to another Featured Artist of the Week, a series highlighting remarkable artists creating Ordinals through the Gamma Partner Program! Today, we meet $𝕚𝐑 𝐆𝔞ＤＦŁ𝐘 ♛, OG glitch artist, on-chain enthusiast, 4x Emmy Nominee and creator of Glitched Gold and h00dlums.
Sir Gadfly has had a long career as a writer/editor in Hollywood, having worked with Dr Phil and written for Power Rangers. This, partnered with a love of gold, strong family ties, and life in both the city and the country, has driven him to push the envelope as a creator on BTC.
His entry to Bitcoin came as he learned about Ordinals on an X space with Doc Hollywood. He began creating a piece for the live drawing ordinals set released on the show Bitcoin Live at Night — his addition to the set can be found on Gamma.
Sir Gadfly's genesis Prints drop on Gamma, 'h00dsy,' sold out quickly. Emerging from glitch artistry, it masterfully unites graffiti's pulse, Banksy's spark, and the visionary h00dlums spirit, an anthem to the audacious wave of Bitcoin-born creativity. This Print series is now available on the secondary market!
In a recent conversation with Sir Gadfly, he discussed the range of tools he uses to create, his family life, and the power of experience, as well as how he loves to learn and teach in the space. You can listen to our entire conversation in the following interview below.
Keep an eye on all Sir Gadfly drops with us on Gamma, as he explores merging glitch art, music, symbolism, and the enigmatic world of Bitcoin.
Thanks for tuning in, we’ll see you next week!
