To get started, click the drop-down arrow next to your profile pictures and hit “Buy Bitcoin.” You’ll be able to pay with card or by connecting your bank account. The Bitcoin that you purchase will automatically top-up your connected Bitcoin wallet!
Please note: You must be a US resident and located in the United States to complete your purchase. You will be prompted to securely verify your identity to purchase.
The millionth inscription goes to…
“PIGGY” 🐷 You heard us correctly — the milestone 1 millionth Ordinal inscription on Bitcoin is the word “PIGGY.” Congratulations to the lucky inscriber!
While we’re on the topic of numbered inscriptions, a recent bug discovery revealed about 1200 inscriptions that didn’t end up getting indexed. ✨Oops.✨ If you’re interested in the technical discussion happening, check out the open issue here. What do you think should be the next step?

Back to the basics
Let’s dive back into the basics of the Bitcoin Blockchain.
The Bitcoin blockchain is a digital, distributed ledger of transactions across the blockchain's network of computer systems. It aims to decentralize financial services and allows users to be in full control of their digital currency, with no third party needed. Users no longer need to go through any financial institution to make or receive online payments, unlike with the U.S. dollar, which is controlled by the Federal Reserve, meaning the user's data and currency are technically controlled by their bank and a central authority system.

Remember our Moonbound quest from earlier this year in January? Well, the Ordinal prizes have now all been inscribed and sent to the winners. Check out the entire collection on Gamma now. Thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated!

Featured NFT Projects 🎨
Justin Aversano - Colin in the car
Justin is a humanist and a social entrepreneur who connects his art with the world around him by capturing moments, faces, and communities through his camera lens. Currently based in Los Angeles. Justin has made a name for himself in the NFT space by launching the Twin Flames collection as the first ever photography project on the Ethereum chain.
This is one of his early medium format street photography images, Colin in the Car, after graduating photography school at the School of Visual Arts in 2014.
To learn more about Justin and his work, check out his new Ordinals collection on Gamma.
The Ordinal Shards are a Bitcoin collection that you can also mint or trade on Ethereum, then burn to claim it on Bitcoin. Check out this 100 piece collection of rare crystals, now trading on Gamma.
Here’s a collection to keep your eye on. 👀 Creator CFW has opened up an Ethereum → Bitcoin migration pathway for their Repillca collection — check out their guide on how to migrate your Repillca NFT to Bitcoin, available exclusively on Gamma.
Repillca is a not-so-thoughtful collection inspired by Twelvefold, a project by Yuga.
A collection of 100 one-of-a-kind generative artworks. Each piece in this collection draws inspiration from the iconic 'pill' created by CFW, resulting in a thought-provoking exploration of form and design.
PS - We want to send a big thank you to everyone who entered for a chance to be featured at Ordinals Alley during the Bitcoin Conference this year! Winners will be chosen by our all-star curator committee from over 150 amazing submissions. We will be announcing winners on April 24th, so stay tuned!
Thanks for the love, we’ll see you next week. 🫡
