We’ve been truly inspired by this year’s Genuary creations and are incredibly grateful to Piter Pasma and the community for organizing such a fantastic event each year. To celebrate this spirit of creativity, we want to help preserve Genuary’s incredible outputs forever—on Bitcoin.
To achieve this, we’re dedicating up to $5,000 to cover inscription costs for artists who want to immortalize their work on Bitcoin through Ordinal inscriptions.
Generative art on Bitcoin is powered by Ordinal inscriptions, which are unique because they allow for recursive references to all previously inscribed libraries and artworks. This fosters a deeply collaborative and community-driven ecosystem.

How to Participate
Select Your Favorite Genuary Work
Choose an original piece created for one of the Genuary prompts. To qualify, the code must have no off-chain dependencies and must be entirely self-contained.Submit Your Entry
Share your artwork by replying to our announcement post or creating a new post that includes your piece and the hashtag #GenuaryForever.Make sure to tag @trygamma in your post so we can engage with you directly.
Deadline: Submit your entry by Tuesday, February 4th, at midnight PT.
Wait for Selection
We’ll select as many artists as possible within our $5,000 budget. Once selected, we’ll reply to your post from our official account to confirm. Afterward, we’ll coordinate with you via direct message to inscribe your piece on Bitcoin at no cost to you.
Additional Benefits
While not required, we encourage selected artists to release their work as either limited or long-form generative series. Our team will assist you in launching and marketing your collection to our Bitcoin collector base—entirely free of charge.
Additionally, selected artists will receive a complimentary one-on-one code review with a Gamma team member or generative artist ambassador. This ensures your work renders perfectly on Bitcoin, providing the best possible experience for collectors.

Pepe, created by Matt Furie, has grown far beyond its comic book origins to become a lasting symbol of internet and crypto culture. Initially adopted as a versatile meme, Pepe's playful and expressive demeanor made it a natural fit for the quirky humor of online communities.
In the crypto world, Pepe reached legendary status with the introduction of Rare Pepe trading cards on the Bitcoin blockchain in 2016, laying the groundwork for today’s NFTs and Ordinals.
Since then, Pepe has sparked endless artistic renditions, meme coins, and projects, representing everything from rebellion and decentralization to community and creativity.
Despite its controversial history, artists continue to reimagine and reclaim Pepe, using the character as a platform for humor, social commentary, and digital art innovation.
