At a time when artificial intelligence advances a visual culture of perfected bodies and seamless precision, Artifishal’s Not Saints, the fifth of his art collections inscribed on Bitcoin, marks a decisive divergence. Conceived as a creation myth articulated across seven books and 133 works, it draws on the visual grammars of classical painting, sacred iconography, and epic cinema, only to quietly dismantle their assurances. What defines Artifishal’s inimitable style is his instinct for contradiction: figures hover between coherence and collapse, ancient and futuristic, remembered and imagined. He allows these tensions to structure the emotional architecture of the work. As a result, distortions, hesitations, and unstable anatomies often dismissed as technical errors, become central, presenting imperfection not as something to repair but as the essential condition through which the contemporary image becomes truly human.

In a big week for him, we further introduce Artifishal, a classically trained filmmaker who fell in love with NFTs and digital art years ago, embracing AI and Bitcoin ordinals to explore subconscious imagery, permanence, and new forms of expression and storytelling. His background in filmmaking deeply shaped how he approaches digital art. He thinks in terms of framing, atmosphere, pacing, and emotion, with each piece often feeling like a single frame pulled from a larger narrative. Digital art became another way for him to tell stories, just distilled down to their most essential, poetic moment.

Burlesque by Eka Lestienne 💃
Now live for Signals backers after successfully finding full signal. Burlesque by Eka is an interactive collection of 11 symbolic stories, each unraveling different facets of the feminine psyche. Vibrant, mysterious, and deeply transformative, the series merges sensual performance with digital alchemy. Three of the pieces are 3D animated artworks, where layers can be seen recomposing to reveal hidden identities beneath the surface.
