Introducing Gamma Partner Curators
Today, we’re announcing a new Gamma Partner Program initiative to diversify top talent curation on Gamma. We're thrilled announce our six debut Partner Curators, each of whom bring a fresh perspective and curatorial process to Prints and beyond.
What are Partner Curators?
Partner Curators introduce a new perspective and curatorial process to artists and their launches on Gamma. Beginning with Prints, each Partner Curator will invite one artist each quarter to launch a new work. Let’s get to know our first six curators:
Singular
Singular is a curation platform focused on supporting the generative art ecosystem on Bitcoin through a highly selective gallery, critical commentary, and technical tooling for artists and projects alike.
Singular employs a rigorous curatorial framework that focuses on creations that utilize and respect Bitcoin as a canvas. The team supports the entire lifecycle of works selected, from initial conception and curation to technical optimization to primary market distribution.
Counterfeit Culture
Counterfeit Culture is a grassroots collective of artists and collectors, platforming creativity, and creating a new art culture on Bitcoin. As the first art house inscribed on Bitcoin, Counterfeit has been onboarding artists and collectors to ordinals since inscription 38980.
In collaboration with artists, Counterfeit elevates ideas into high-quality, ordinals-native digital artifacts. Counterfeit empowers artists to share their story, create with intention, and push the limitations of what's thought possible on ordinals.
Bitcoin Art Collective
The Bitcoin Art Collective brings together emerging and established artists to explore the boundless possibilities of art. The collective is passionate about fostering connections, providing recognition, and offering unique opportunities for creators and collectors worldwide.
Led by goodkitty, the Collective is drawn to the interplay between color, light, and emotion, as well as the cultural narratives that shape the art of our era. Their goal is to connect beyond the visual, delving into the heart and mind of the artist to uncover the deeper stories they tell.
Inscribing Atlantis
Inscribing Atlantis, established by members of the Ordinals Protocol team, is a leading inscribing agency that demystifies the process of inscribing on Bitcoin, offering technical expertise to artists and creators for crafting enduring digital legacies.
Their curatorial process includes the careful selection and presentation of art & artifacts with the aim of interpreting and communicating specific subject matter to the community. It involves research, planning and collaboration between Inscribing Atlantis and artists to create engaging and educational artworks.
Oshi Gallery
Oshi Gallery is the number one Web3 hub, art gallery, 𝗉𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗍 house and culture capital for digital art and collectibles in Australia.
Their curatorial process aims to cultivate a diverse digital ecosystem by working with artists that push boundaries, understand cultures, and think deeply in the realm of digital art.
Cypherpunk Lab
As a collective, Cypherpunk Lab is comprised of technologists, scientists, artists, and community leaders who are united by a shared dedication to the principles of the Cypherpunk ethos. Their mission is to spearhead the creation of tomorrow's Cypherpunks Movement, continuing to embody and advance the ideals that define their community.
Cypherpunk Lab curates art advancing and/or applying technology in novel ways to build the future of human freedom. Cypherpunks write code.
Partner of the Week
Welcome to another Featured Artist of the Week, a series highlighting remarkable artists creating Ordinals through the Gamma Partner Program! Today, we're introducing Ronin, an artist, philosopher, scientist, and the co-founder of Nonnish.
Ronin has paved his way in the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem, from his debut set as the co-founder and principle artist at Nonnish Kingdom called The Weight of the Night, to releasing Prints as a Gamma Partner Artist.
Ronin's artwork derives a lot of inspiration from the world around him in Estonia, coupled with his fascination for medieval themes and architecture. Ronin's ink-on-paper style is distinctly unique, reflecting the extensive time he has dedicated to refining his craft. His deep connection with the natural environment, especially trees, profoundly influences the shapes and lines of his work.
During a recent conversation, Ronin shared insights into his drawing process, the importance of practice and observation, and the fulfillment he finds in engaging with his community. To hear our full discussion, listen to the interview below:
Keep an eye on all Ronin's drops with us on Gamma via his profile below, where you can purchase his existing Prints!
In other news…Inscription #2 just sold for 24.48 BTC yesterday! 🤯 What do you think?
